Can't sleep.....so I blog!

Sigh, is 2.55am and I am still not feeling sleepy, scary huh...guess I just have to surf the net,do some work and write a few words on the blog then i will get back to sleep,Hahaha... I just wanna share some working pcitures here. Well, last Thurs was Nippon Paint's big day as it was the launch of 3 new products and we had over 700 guests from every part of Malaysia, plus including Spore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, India and etc to witness this meaningful evening. Hey peeps, just wanna share with all of you that my blog is back to live again ....after like 11 months? or even longer....Although im not sure how many people will still visit my blog (probably not even 1 anymore) but i will still leave my thoughts here tonight!

I suppose each year I will only have some time for myself, as in to really think of myself, to reflect on what I have done for the past few days, weeks, months or even years, or to even have time to just think about people around me, friends around me, things that i have missed out in my busy working lifestyle. AND.....................this few days are THE days that I have been doing tonnes and tonnes of thinkings about LIFE! and to be more specific : AUDREY's LIFE.

Well, I will have to talk like an old dude now: I feel like I have missed quite a bit in life, I love my work, I seriously love my work no matter which company I am in, even in my current new company, and I do enjoy my work be it whether it sucks or gives me tonnes of headachs coz at the end of the day, it is the learnings that are indeed satifying! no to mentioned the opportunities that's given from all my lovely ex-bosses and current boss as well as the exposures that I have gained. Well, still I realised I miss out times that I should spend with God, with family, with many old good friends and etc...(sometimes I wonder is this what we call ''life'' and ''growing up'')

As much as I think and wine about people and things that I've missed, I wish to highlight the biggest statement/term that I love to use: THANKFUL! I have always been truly thankful for thounsands of things in life, just let me name a few:

- Thankful to God that I have Him in my life
- Thankful for my dad and mom, they are like great friends to me
- Thankful for my sister, bro in law and cute nephew whom are back in Malaysia
- Thanksful to have Ken and have been thru many things with him and we are still loving =)
- Thankful that although I failed most of my O-levels papers yet am still doing good today
- Thankful that I have great bosses and colleagues in all my working years and more to come
- Thankful to have my 1st apartment with Ken
- AND many ''thanksfulssss'' way to come.....

I think I am done with all the typing and thankful to have such thoughts ...

Work ..work and work..

The title has been my tagline since 2-3 months ago... check out what i did in the hotel during a business trip to Sabah:

A few of us went for Sabu Sabu steamboat to celebrate ET and Fung's brithday...as most of us were busy eating, i only managed to take a few pics... =)

My Darling...

Because of my work, i hardly chat with my sis and of course hardly get to see my nephew via webcam lately...i suddenly realized he has grown up so so much when i chat with my sis today...he learnt to walk, talk, do funny facial expression and many more...I really miss him alot! Sis and Bro in law, i miss you both a lot too!!

Finally....i wrote something new in my blog...

I must say this again: I finally post something new to my own blog after 2 months...I shall summarize what has happened lately:
- I completed my 1st proposal paper in UMWT, it went a long way for approval and finally got rejected by 1 man =(
- 3 new and ad-hoc campaigns kicked off in the month of Apr, May and Jun
- I started to work late, later and latest...
- I had my first domestic flight to Sabah for branch visit
- I break the record of not going back to Ipoh for 2 months

Thank God i managed to cope with the stress that i had from ridiculous timeline and heavy workloads and im really glad things are better now...

So many times i wanted to give up but am happy that people around me has always been giving full support and encouragement and not forgetting strengths from above to keep me going on...

Malaysia F1 Grand Prix

I should have posted these 3 weeks ago...haha, but as usual, am busy and lazy..anyway, these are some of the pics taken during this year's F1 race. Well, not so much of an happy and personal affair but rather WORK! Some of us had to work on that day to bring some customers cum winners of a contest to the grand prix, it was really hot and loud but ultimately is an experience to see the race live.

Singapore !!

Thank God that i was given an opportunity to attend a marketing course in Singapore regional office.. my first business trip in Toyota and my very first trip that i have to fly alone. ( now i know how mom feels when she traveled to Melb alone and visit sis).

Let's talk about the course first: honestly, i find the course fruitful, we have different colleagues from different country such as Korea, India, Thailand, Philippine, Taiwan and others to share their market situation and we had case study on Corolla. I get to know how people manage a product that has been existing so long the market and different markets will need different approach managing a product life cycle. I get to personally meet the people that i have always talk to on the phone and email....it was a fun yet very fruitful course. I wish there are more these that i can attend in future too...

I didnt really get a chance to shop around much but i visited James, Vanessa, Kiat and Joo Lian, and not forgetting that i wanted to go and see animals so i went to the ZOO...hahahhaha...

My thoughts after the trip: i have always think that i never like jobs that required traveling nor exploring my career in other countries, but i think i don't mind to explore my career out of Malaysia if opportunity comes, there are so much to see and learn out there...

Paul & Meng's Wedding

Went for Paul & Meng's wedding tonight, Paul is my colleague and Meng is actually from our creative agency. Indeed honored and glad that they invited me to be at this special day and i must say both of them made a really cute and matching couple. Congrats!

TQ Dinner

Toyota has this annual dinner known as Thank You dinner last Saturday, and obviously serves the purpose of thanking all the staffs for their hard work and contribution towards the company for the past one year. This year's theme is Bollywood!

Farewell

I took half day leave on Tuesday because dad and mom were down with sis, bro in law and Yong Shuan to KL...not for shopping of course but to send sis back to Melb. Sobsob "( ..
We went lunch, then went home bath, get some rest, fed Yong Shaun and off for KLIA, and knowing me, i took as much pictures as possible.

Sis, Jie Fu and Yong Shuan, i miss you guys alot, let me save enough for air ticket and have a leave approved then will come visit you guys!

Work...work...work...

The older i am, the more i realized i am more like my dad- we are workaholics! I remembered i used to complained a lot about dad working late and never take us for holiday back at those days....but now i feel like him and behaving like him. Understand that these are not the right type of working attitudes but i just can't seems to tune it right..sigh! I always think i am still young and while im still young, i should work as hard as possible and learn as much as possible, and i hope i am learning the smart way....
Sometimes i just feel so tired................

Back to Ipoh again...

Although i just went back to Ipoh for a long CNY break, yet i made it a point to still go back the following weekend since sis, bro in law and Yong Shuan is going back to Melb soon. I just wanted to spent more time with them before they leave coz the next time to see them will probably be another 6months-1 year already, unless i save enough for my air ticket to fly there and visit them =)

No one wanted to tumpang my car back 2 weekends ago except Ken was nice enough to drove me back and we spent doing nothing much the weekend but to eat, take more angpow and play with Yong Shuan, and i took more pictures with Yong Shuan:

Chinese New Year!

Hahahha, Happy belated CNY to everyone! Apologies... as now only i have the time to post some pictures taken during CNY up to my blog. As usual, i took leave during the reunion dinner eve and traveled back to Ipoh with friends, in order not to jam the highway, we all decided to car pool. (Wise decision ha...) Thank God there was no jam and we reached Ipoh around 10pm that night. Immediately the next day morning, Dad, Mom, Ginger and myself headed back to our lovely hometown - Sg. Petani, and yes, Ginger travelled with us...itsd actually kinda fun to have our dear Ginger with us along the entire CNY break, atleast i have her with me since sis will only be back with bro in law and Yong Shuan the 2nd day of CNY. A good weekend..

Althought the travelling was indeed a tiring one, but last weekend was a great weekend, i baik Ipoh and balik Sungai Petani with my family, not to mention my first longest week with my nephew because of the long holiday. =)

New Polo-T

Since today is a public holiday for Selangor state (means i do not need to wake up too early for work), so i went for a quick shopping after dinner at Ikano last night. Sis didn't really bring many clothes back from Melb, so I bought her and myself polo-T from PDI. Its just a simple polo-T, i hope she will like it.
